T.E.A.C.H. Nevada Scholarship

  • 80% of in-state college tuition
  • 80% of the cost of text books
  • $50 travel stipend each semester
  • Contract completion bonuses for successfully completing college credits
  • Paid time off work (release time) each semester
  • The support of a Project Counselor
  • 10% of in-state college tuition
  • Provide a minimum of 16 hours of paid time off work (release time) each semester
  • Bonuses or wage increases for successfully completing commitment terms with the center
  • Support scholarship recipients in their pursuit of an Early Childhood Education degree or certificate
  • 10% of college tuition
  • 20% of the cost of text books
  • Clear communication with the center director regarding class and release time schedules each semester
  • Adhere to T.E.A.C.H. Nevada deadlines and inform your Project Counselor of any changes in class schedules or employment status
  • Commit to maintain employment at the participating center for one year upon degree or certificate completion
  • Follow an Early Childhood Education degree path
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA at the associate degree level and a 3.0 GPA minimum at the bachelor’s degree level
  • Apply for financial aid (FAFSA) every academic year
  • Remain an active member of The Nevada Registry
  • Employment in a licensed early learning program or home care facility: 30 hours per week
  • Employment in a QRIS-participating early learning program
  • Major in Early Childhood Education
  • Maintain 2.5 GPA minimum at the associate degree level and a 3.0 GPA minimum at the bachelor’s degree level
  • Agreement to participate from the applicant’s program of employment

 

Knowledge Universe Scholarship

  • 70% of in-state college tuition
  • 70% of the cost of text books
  • $65 travel stipend each semester
  • Contract completion bonuses for successfully completing college credits
  • Paid time off work (release time) each semester
  • The support of a Project Counselor
  • 20% of in-state college tuition
  • 20% of the cost of text books
  • Provide a minimum of 16 hours of paid time off work (release time) each semester
  • Bonuses or wage increases for successfully completing commitment terms with the center
  • Support scholarship recipients in their pursuit of an Early Childhood Education degree or certificate
  • 10% of college tuition
  • 10% of the cost of text books

Practicum Model Scholarship

  • $1,500 substitute care stipend
  • The support of a Project Counselor
  • All benefits associated with the associate scholarship model
  • Provide verification of substitute care
  • Must pass the course with a C or higher
  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Counselor
  • Adhere to T.E.A.C.H. Nevada paperwork deadlines
  • Applicants must be currently on an associate scholarship with T.E.A.C.H. Nevada and must be in good standing
